The Ezi Rising Step is part of our CrashProof range of products and provides a medium to high impact barrier system for vehicles travelling in one direction.  It provides a tough and reliable hydraulic vehicle barrier designed to deliver quick rise times and equipped with advanced safety features.

The Ezi Rising Step is your solution choice for applications that demand a higher risk of impact resistance and in locations where the TruckStopper is unable to be installed due to a lack of space for the back rail.

Although the Rising Step is limited in performance and security when compared with the TruckStopper, it’s still a viable option to many corporations when installed along with pedestrian gate barriers or forming part of a sanitation portal design concept.

Durability and performance is a pre requisite feature of all Ezi products as they must be capable of a true 100% duty cycle.  This simply means that the Rising Step will work all day every day.

The advanced electronics are also of industrial quality and PLC controlled using specialist programs gleaned from many years of specialist industry experience.

The high quality hydraulic drive provides smooth and quiet operation and is yet capable of withstanding axle loadings of up to 12 tonnes.

As part of our CrashProof range of products, the Ezi Rising Step comes standard with its own UPS (uninterruptible power supply) system that will provide up to 20 operations in the event of power failure.

Our Rising Step range is available in various sizes, from 3 metres up to 6 metres, with variable heights also on offer.

As Ezi is an original equipment manufacturer, we can custom design and manufacturer your security solutions.  The Ezi Rising Step is also fully compatible with all commercially available access control systems.

Design: The base frame is lowered into a sizable concrete pit with suitable drainage and constructed from 125 x 65 PFC and 200 x 200 x 13 angle. The base frame is fully welded and reinforced with 75 x 75 x 8 angle struts.

The wedge which rises out of the ground is also constructed from beams and angle (100mm x 100mm angle) on the attack face to offer maximum impact resistance.

The wedge is completed with a top sheet of 10mm thick anti skid checker plate.
